More race car action. A lot of the cars were running much quicker today. The weather was about 71 with a cool tailwind breeze. That red 71 429 SCJ Mustang ran 2/10s quicker than yesterday. So did the white and red 68 Firebird.

The twin L88 Vettes. One runs FAST and the other Factory Stock. Both seemed to have mechanical trouble this morning. I left before the finals.

Nice tread on the 10.549 running L88:

Father and daughter running Chevies. Dad gets the LS6.

Terry & Julie Pennington...Terry goes by "Big Dog" here on Yenko.net. Talked to Donny and he said Julie got her Factory Stock 'Vette going again and she ripped off an 11.4x @ 122!

That's Steve Hodges on the right...71LS6 here on the site...he got his FAST Challenger into the 10s for the first time this weekend...

I'm glad someone took the time to get some pictures. Thanks Steve. It was good to see you and your hemi again. Lots of cool cars to see. The turn out was great for a first time show.

I'd also like to thank all the guys who helped me get my engine cleaned up, after the upper rad hose popped off the rad, and made a mess. We winched it into the trailer, to avoid any further need for cleaning. I got it home and spent another hour with detailer getting more anti-freeze off various engine parts. It looks like it never happened now.

It was a lousy end to a great day, but no big deal in the end.

Thanks again Steve for the pics. Looking forward to next year already.
