I have never thought about it before, but are really ALL the Douglas Yenko Camaros part of the 198 Camaros Yenko sold in 1969 ? Since Douglas ordered some directly from Chevrolet after the initial shipment from Yenko, wouldn´t the number be 198 Yenkos plus some Douglas Yenkos ?

Yes; the "Dougkos" are not part of the 198/201 number, whichever it is.

Before ordering in his own COPOS, JD was part of the Yenko dealer network, selling Yenkos converted at Canonsburg. I believe it was in one of these cars he found the paperwork IDing the cars as factory 427s.
