I had a pair of that style traction bars on my 57 Chevy back in 1965. Mine were white and they worked better than the Traction Master brand that was popular back then. I would buy them again over a pair of heavy square bar Lakewoods. I wanna say Val Hedworth was making them if I remember correctly.

I bought a set of the Nickey Traction Bars and put them on my L-79 Nova ( Bought at Hoskins Chevrolet....Right down the street from Nickey....they were $50 Cheaper)..............Those were the only changes to the stock suspension......E&R built the engine (Winter of 66/67) and with a Cross Ram, Sig Erson Camshaft, and 4:88 gears I ran a best of 11.73 at U.S. 30........
Fun Times.........."And" not so Fun.... Ken
