Did I miss a previous post about your car - looks pretty cool and I'm sure others would like to know more about it.

Thank you

Link to thread about it on Team Chevelle added to post 1.
Work in progress but many dates- numbers there already.

If rotor is wrong what do I need to look for?
Points- condenser were Echlin and wires were generic so rotor is for sure a possibility.

Do not care about judging standards. Only what was on it new.

Thanks Lynn. Estate car so no questions could be asked. Did get records with it but nothing about this. Will keep all as it came with car but now we need to add a cap and rotor to the list.

This is exactly why we are here.

Car is not getting restored or repainted. We cleaned it up underneath and just oiled everything. Not car show people but realized this was an exceptional example and others may want to see it's details. Reason for the threads. We ar working at getting it as close to how it was on 2/26/69 when Gerald picked it up. As you can see we are not hiding it's imperfections and are showing any replaced parts. Found a dist cap with "R" on it. Same as one on dist other than the "R". Odd the cap on dist was older than car. Looks almost new and car has 24K miles. Anywayz all parts taken ofg are being saved. There are other links in the Team Chevelle thread for more info on "OLE BLUE".

Needs some cleaning but contacts look really good.
A little overspray to clean off but that is easy.

"ROTOR X" rotors in NOS sealed boxes are available.
Hard to see in a sealed box.
Is the right one like this replaced one without the "E"?

Default fuel pump

Fuel pump off it.
Works but is quite stiff.
Who can rebuild it without making it pretty?
