Yah - it's hard to find a picture of a nice '99.
I was there for the '03 refresh, too - except by then I was in Engineering Program management. We had a terrible time getting that front bumper to fit to the fenders consistently. It also wanted to roll up or roll down during a barrier event, rather than collapsing axially. K
