This Frost Green 69 Camaro SS, 124379N623909, was sold new at Jack Maxton Chevrolet in Worthington OH. This car had a CHP Certificate displayed showing it is an original L89 car with a TH400. The actual report was not displayed. It's my understanding that this car doesn't have any factory documentation and it doesn't have its original engine or transmission so I'm not sure how it was documented as an original L89. This car was part of the Jeff Mauk Collection and sold at Mecum Kissimmee in '22 for $75K. Here it was bid to $100K but didn't sell.

Are you seeing other new era COPOs going for less these prices like this? This is the lowest I've ever seen.

This car went through at no reserve. I've noticed a number of these new COPO's don't meet their reserve. Those that sell usually go for mid-80's or more.

This Sebring Yellow 70 Olds 442 W-30, 344870M198847, is equipped with its original OW TH400 and TO 3.91 rear. Both of which were specific to the W-30 as I understand it. Sebring Yellow was 1 of 4 special paint colors available on the 442 in '70. This car hammered for 70K.

This Tiger Gold 66 GTO, 242176P145038, is another special paint car. Tiger Gold was available in '65 for the GTO, but was discontinued in '66. This car has PHS documentation, but it wasn't displayed with the car so I don't know if this was an original tri-power car or not. I was advertised as having a WS block. This car hammered for $82K. It previously sold at Mecum Kissimmee in '15 for $57K.
