14x6 Foresight Drag Mags. I also have a set of 15x7s but they are too wide in the rear.

They look great, especially on the '65 442. How about some F70x14 (or Gs) Coker whitewalls!

I'm confused abotu the "M/T No. 1 Mag Type" wheel (the Challenger style). It says heli-arc welded, but every one I've seen was riveted together!

Me too Verne...I have seen Raders and Sears Raders welded but not the M/T's.

-------These Foresight wheels were all over the south Florida scene back in the day. The company must have gone after the Florida market very aggressively as I never saw them around very much anywhere else. The deep reverse often called for raised suspensions on both the front and rear, but everyone (including me) liked that look back then so nobody much cared about the loss of handling. Of course the "cool" guys all ran Bluestreak Goodyear dry racing tires on the street. Tires stuck out 3 inches or more were the norm. God forbid we ever run into a puddle!!!!!.......Bill S

I took one of the Zs out today...weather's finally getting decent! These are 15x6 Cragar G/T wheels from 1966 that I restored over the winter. Center caps were rechomed by Courtesy Metal Plating in Villa Park, IL, and none other than our own Bob G. detailed them!

I first saw a set of rough G/Ts at the Jefferson swap meet when I was 12. Finally came across a restorable set on Ebay and picked them up last year. These are composite construction (steel rim, Al center). Fit great on the car and clear the 4-piston calipers without a spacer.

This is a 27000 mile drag car that was fluffed in the mid-80s, so the tow tabs and Cragars are justified!

Yeah, you can't tease us with one photo of that car! Cragar GTs are cool. Reminds me of the '67 Dana Camaro used for the magazine articles back in the day.

I will get a few more pics. I have the traction bars off because one of them was cracked near the axle, discovered that when I had the 12 bolt out to go through it. I'm slowly going through the car and fixing what breaks....

Found some more ads while going through a stack of 1970 Rod & Custom magazines.

Wasn't someone asking about Rocket wheels recently?
