Dad and I looked over the picture again, and noticed some interesting things. That appears to be our '68 funny car on the back of a brand new '68 1-ton truck, we are stumped on the "Paddy Wagon" thing, but we are curious about the CAR that is pulling the trailer hauling "Little Hoss"...any ideas what it might be? Ken?

Ken; Neat picture of the Gibb/Harrell caravan. I have numerous photos of the '68 flip top car, both with and without the black top, but was not for sure which paint scheme was first. With that photo dated Feb, 1968, I would say that the car started out all red, then red with black top and last of course, the tri-color burgundy. Now, if I can just decide which paint scheme to use. I had thought red w/black top, but the car looks pretty sharp all red.

69SS396,
The ZL1 #1 pic is here on page 7 of this thread. Rob and Tom, I too was thinking the vinyl roof car is towing Little Hoss. Does the roof line and ventipane look like this car? ORIGLS6, Awesome pictures! Thanks for posting these windows into history! The car parked in front of the trailer. Could it be that it is not hooked to the trailer, but instead just parked there. It kind of looks like the top of the '67 injected race car?

Tom,
I have a poor quality copy of a pic of the car back of the car hauling Little Hoss, it appears to be an Impala coupe. It is from Helen and labled "California bound". In the pic with your car, the angle of the pic looks like the car in front of the trailer is too close to be attached to the trailer though. Maybe it is the 67 funny. Tom, I agree, all red is very attractive, however, from an historical perspective, wouldn't 3 red/black cars look awesome together? With Joes car, make that 4. ORIGLS6, any more conclusive pics from that trip? |

Ken,
Nothing at the moment. That's subject to change though. DC
