Thanks for all the feedback. I still have some work to do, but the end is near........I think....

Took a step backward last night. I made the mistake of putting 5 gals of gas in the brand new stainless steel tank. In the morning, there was a strong smell of gas in my shop, and a 3" round puddle of gas on the floor. There's a pin hole right on the bottom of the tank. No dents or scratches, looks like a flaw in the steel. So the battle begins with the vendor. The tank is now out of the car, sitting outside.

Bill,

Is it a Spectra Gas Tank....I have had great results with them.....and when I did have a problem....is was "no problem", they took care of everything.

I'm not sure who made it Dan. The vendor I got it from is standing behind it., and replacing it free of charge. They are bringing the new tank to the Raceway Park fall swap, this weekend. I can't be there, but a friend of mine will be picking it up for me.

I decided to get the OEM tank, and I believe it is a Spectra tank.

I got the exhaust system installed, as well as the front of the Nova finished up. I got the hood hinges back from being rebuilt, so the hood can go back too. I also got the tow tabs painted and bolted in place.
