I talked with Nate today and he chuckled when I read this to him. I had a set of engine mounts shipped to him yesterday and he's now mocking up a small block in a 69 sub frame to get all the clearances right on these headers. He's going to add some 02 bungs so tuning the carbs will be a little easier once the Crossram is added. They should be finished up and sent off for ceramic coating next week.

While most of the ones he's been doing have been for big blocks, he's now making a set for my mouse motor with 1-3/4" tubes and the custom made collectors to fit a F-Body SBC with power steering and a Muncie. They are built using an original front sub-frame and steering so that the headers are perfectly clearance'd to fit the car. Once completed they are sent off to Minnesota to be Ceramic coated (in orange of course). These are gonna sound cool behind the new Crossram motor with that ping pong ball sound inside the chambers.

Here's a sound clip link to Youtube.

I asked Nate and he said that a set for BB is 2K and includes 2" Primaries, Ceramic Coat and Shipping in the US.

He starts on mine next week and ships in 3 weeks.

Sick with a nasty cold the past week but got out to the machine shop today to drop off the parts needed for the build. Block is all washed up and ready for some final measuring, stroker clearancing and final assembly. Shouldn't take too long.

Hi there NorCam!! I'll see if I can dig up some info on Louis from some ole drag drace buddies in the West End of Montreal. I thought his car was sold to a Paul Gougeon who ran a radiator shop in Montreal. John Armstrong I remember from Napes and Sanair as a wicked l'il Opel exited his closed trailer with a winch setup. The Opel was a very high pitched engine and ran unbelievable. Set a few records. Loved the L'il car som much I went out and bought Ron Brunet's Fibreglass Opel and still have the beast. Ron Brunet is the owner of Napierville. Lottsa good ex drag racers still around.
I will see what I can dig up on Louis' car(s)..
Ted
