You'd cry real tears. It REALLY got worked over. Whole nose was changed, rear deck was made into a fastback rear window. Heavily sculpted. Interior completely color changed from the original Black leather to include a "cool" mini b&w TV cut into the dash.

It even looked good with the steel wheels and dog dish it came with. Would love to duplicate it with a SD 455. On the bucket list....

My first car the day I brought it home. That's me in 1980. Car still had original paint. I had to buy a new grille and headlight cover hinge to get the hideaways working again. I think it was $18 for the new GM grille at the dealer.

That is cool you kept it. We are about the same age and my first car was a 68 firebird sold it to buy a 66 427 Vette. Still looking for a Firebird Like it.
