Bruce is correct.

I love the mid-century modern architecture (1933-1965) and the 60’s cars.

Default New Jersey

Beautiful 60’s hotels and motels on the beaches of NJ.

This beach hotel (KONA KAI) in Jersey shows another 1964 Lemans in Sunfire Red and a Burgundy ‘65 Catalina model in the parking lot.

Unfortunately this hotel was demolished in 2006.

Story goes that Ms. Cordelia Gevas drove her Mayfair Maize ‘65 GTO from her NJ home to the NJ beaches a couple times in the late 60’s.

Those were the days!

Default 1967 gto

Hanging out at the burger place.

Looks like Deluxe wheel disc with Red line tires on this Cordova top ‘67.

----Chris,,,Those tires are almost too hard to call. I could call either red or dirty white. One thing for sure,,,they are Firestones!.....Bill S

The pic reminded me of Stone Harbor.

Default 1967 gto

Another vintage photo showing a Red ‘67 GTO parked at a cool 60’s Motel.

I fondly remember traveling from Springfield Illinois to the state of Florida as a little kid with my brother and sister with Mom & Dad up front in a white Chevrolet station wagon towing a boat.

Those were the best of times in the 50’s - 60’s.

Default Tiger Top?

Saw this photo for the first time on Facebook yesterday. Said to have been an idea pitched that never came to be. I think it's really cool!
