For even more proof look at the following pics, in the first one you can see the 68 dash pad and inner door panel, you couldn't install that over the metal top of a 67 door, even the weatherstrip is 68 you can tell by the top of it, second pic is a 67 weatherstrip
In the next two pics you see, I assume Grumpy reaching into the back of the car, you can see the top of the astro vent by his knee, then a pic clearly showing the car has the astro vent even the rear windlass looks to be 68 because this is a 68 camaro
The last pic is Dales car it has an early style 67 only quarter, referred to as the telephone receiver style, that's most likely the original quarter and would never have had an astro vent installed it wouldn't even fit flush in that quarter

The cage pictured above looks like a modern cage, I've had similar stuff put in over the last 20 years.

While this thread is not about the '67 car you guys do a good job to point out everything that substantiates that IV was a '68.

We removed a few posts that contradict the known history of IV, they are under review.

Cross between that and Area 51.

Back to IV.... My friend in NC is talking to some of his contacts to nail down who had the supposed car in that storage place by Camp Lejeune in the 90s.

Before getting back on topic I want to point out a couple things:
All evidence points towards Grumpy's Toy IV being a 68 and none of it points towards it being a 67
In these pics posted earlier, you can also see Grumpy's car had the dash vent, most know these are only on 67's with A/C but are on all 68's as they were also part of the astro ventilation system, but since this car has no vent above the heater controls for A/C that means it's dash board came in a 68 non A/C car. Also the roll bars are not even close to being the same, some bars at different angles, intersections, elevations, and even non existent, there is just no way these two cars are the same, only thing confusing is what Grumpy has in his hands, my wife thinks it's a sandwich but I think it's a bird
