I agree completely. Growing up in Chicago, most of the cars that you would find in the early 70s already looked like this one. Sheetmetal was always the issue. Ed

Not sure but I think that they are datecodes for when the brakes were assembled.

James is correct. It is a Julian Calender dating system.

295th (Oct 22) and 296th (Oct23) day of the year. That matches the timeframe of your car. The rotors are also stamped with ink just like that in yellow.

Don Stowers forwarded this photo of his 01B '69 Yenko Camaro. Date on the self-adjuster is consistent with the build date of the car. What a wonderful original car Don. Best of luck with the sale at Mecum!
