I have to say that it does look good repainted, but not sure why you'd go through the trouble of replacing those suspension pieces with aftermarket ones if you weren't going to keep it.

I have given him so much advice re: originality over the years and he hasn't always listened to me. The suspension stuff is just money down the drain. Still...it's a rust free, 20,000 mile original drivetrain L78 with 100% original interior. I'm past the point of wanting to mess with cars that need work. If I was younger, I might feel differently.

very nice! classic 'day two' vibe, right out of the 80s.. when repaint would it need to be stripped to bare metal to prevent future fisheye or other paint problems?
