It's amazing how many fires get lit due to MCACN.

Hope you all have a wonderful time at the show.

One cautionary note though: I got carbon monoxide poisoning one year when I stayed inside in the loading area for 5 hours enthralled by watching all the cars come in. I finally noticed what was happening and stumbled over to the hotel, got into my room and just sat in the shower dizzy with a pounding migraine and barfing my guts out for the next four hours til my normal O2 levels came back.

The next morning I went over to one of the building managers and asked him whether there were carbon monoxide detectors in the building and what they were reading the day before. He laughed and said they had to unplug them because they were going off nonstop from the beginning of the day.

For some reason he couldn't understand my bewildered look at his response.

I wonder if they disconnect the fire and smoke alarms as well during the show?

Anyway, be safe and enjoy the show. And if you start noticing a headache during move-in day, get outside and get some fresh air ASAP!
