So is this car unrestored or an older restoration in need of some TLC? I believe there are only 3 known Tuxedo Black COPO Chevelles in the registry. The black Wagner car sold for $310K at Mecum Indy in 2009. If the car has been detailed since the video was taken it would be nice to see some photos of it. It's a great find and the new owner shouldn't be run of just because he got a good deal on the car.

You are speculating that I said something is wrong. Plain in simple I do not by any cars with no documentation. I cut to the chase no BS with me. I have my ways about doing business. Father and son? Do not know anything about that. It may upset you I do not agree with you. If someone wants to pony up 225k good for them. I did not down play the car saying it was a fake or anything else. You come on here only to speak about this car with 5 posts and you are defensive if someone may ask a question that does not suit your situation. The barn find deal has become redundant all cars are now barn finds. Neat find why not post up some detailed photos, numbers, stamping, any original paper work and legitimize it as to what it is suppose to be that would cool would it not?

Sean, speaking of cars with docs.. what happened to your “original paint black copo “ you tried selling me? You sent pics of a known clone car to me stating it was a survivor car. After some research I found it was a fake that was sold through one of the auctions.
You never did clear that one up with me very well.

Wow what a read ….. my 2 cents worth …… if you have the money and you think its worth it ………….. good for you ….. buy it …… to me, if it is not a Canadian documented car, or have a TON of original documentation with absolute proof …. you blew it at any price. As for what its worth ………… original, restored or otherwise …. its an old Muscle Car and its worth what someone is willing to pay for it God Bless you all

Don't put 100% trust in a Canadian documented car. That only documents that particular VIN,not the actually vehicle that is attached to it today.

Isn’t that true of any docs?

On that note, you should also pay the fee to order yourself a new report. GM Canada Vintage Vehicle Services now puts their corporate seal on documentation, but older Canadian documentation is as easy to forge as any other document.

Just my opinion. This thread seems to have run its course. Derailed and become personal. Not what this forum is about. Let’s keep it fun, a place to forget about our day to day and realities of life/work Etc. Rob
