No, it's the original SS hood. The holes are taped on the backside to prevent blowthrough overspray.

Yes the basecoat is reduced with water. The rest of the system is still petro based. I asked alot of questions on what clear to use and sikkens superior 250 is a knock out! The shine is incredible and very scratch resistant.
Jed just come up and see it first hand at the heartland nova reunion in june.
