I’ve thought about doing this on a Bridgeport. What tool did you use, and how did it turn out?

Just a standard boring bar with 5/8" bar and carbide insert. I think they turn out nice but sometimes you do get some chatter. I had to really slow down the spindle speed to almost the min the machine would run to make it all work.

What type of product are you using for your blasting and what are you prepping the blasted surface with before painting ? Thanks

Ocassionally i will use a 2k high build primer but I will only get into that with easily sanded surfaces and heavier pitting. This car will not require and 2k as im already finding a single sand is elimating all pits if they even exist. |
