F/SA Buick GS, test and tune 68 Chevelle. This engineer worked at the Mesa proving grounds. My 68 Z28 was the terror of the town, in the late 70s in high school this car ran 11.30s on marginal slicks @ a 2130 foot altitude track, and it could have been a lot faster if I only knew...........

All,
These are the pictures of my current car. It is an NHRA Stocker, 402-375 HP 1970 Camaro, which currently is a B/SA (B Stock Automatic) and has to weigh a minimum of 3570 lbs. The NHRA Index for this class is 11.25 and the National Record is 9.91 @ 132.30 MPH, held by a gentleman from New Jersey. Here are some pictures of my Yenko Clone project. I started this project in the early 2000's with the purchase of a nice body and my plan was to make the car into my YENKO recreation. I planned on making it look just like my original with the LeMans blue, but build it as a legal NHRA Super Stock that would fit into the SS/AA category that in my opinion would run in the 8 second zone with a legal L88 style engine built to NHRA specifications. As you will see by the pictures and in my opinion it turned out as the car I envisioned. I have to give credit where credit is due. Mike Pustelny from Almont, Michigan fabricated the chassis and Todd Frantz from Louisville, Kentucky applied the paint where he works at Lambert Auto Body. I completed the car with all the wiring, plumbing, and getting it to run. The engine in the picture is a bracket engine that I put in just to make sure everything worked as designed. GM
