This past week represents the end of the line for the 70 (at least in a judging perspective). At the NCRS National Convention, the car received it's National Top Flight Award, the Duntov Mark of Excellence Award, and the 5th Star on it's Bowtie Preservation Excellence Award.

Tracey and I are back home, and everything is safe and sound. This week I'll put the driver wheels and tires on the car, change out the embossed oil filter, and press the car into light service. This will be a nice car to enjoy driving on a limited basis. Of course, there always seems to be something else that pops up and catches my eye

Congratulations Tim! Recently, someone paid you a high compliment on here and I agree. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a car from you site unseen, Rob.

Glad you made it home safely, Tim. It was good to see you and your car at Nationals.
I bet all those awards put a little extra weight in the trailer.

I tried. No success though. There was a 67 435hp roadster with 14k miles I was pretty smitten with
