Lose the mudflaps. Add Torque-Thrusts. Redlines. Done.

Awesome car. Enjoy it til you're 90.

Mike,
It's obviously your call on the wheels and Cragars are killer on Black cars, ......... but I second the TTs & redlines.

Whatever you do, the car is !

the mud flaps are as much "day 2" as anything else on the car and keep it tidy too, ever clean those side pipes before?

My 65 Chevelle had mud flaps on it, for what I guess was over thirty years. Definetly a reason for lack of rust in quarters and fenders. I did take them off because the car no longer sees puddles or rain.

I would second leaving them on this Camaro in the case of the sidepipes.

Thanks for all the compliments. The Torque-Thrusts are definately a great wheel and may consider it. But cant go wrong with the Cragars as well. Trying to put together a complete set. My uncle mentioned before that that mud flaps really helped with the "road rash" so maybe in hindsight i was lucky he did since the original paint is still in great shape. If any of you are going to carlisle, please stop by and say hello. I believe i will be in building "Y" from Thursday to Sunday. I will be heading to the other building with all the other great cars sometime and will do the same.

Not a probelm Arthur, would be flattered to get this car known out in the world. I did pm you.

Just a FYI, i have reliable trucking picking up the car and in talking to the driver, he has a new, 2 miles only, new Corvette GS. Not sure if this is the newest and baddest corvette out there, but he should be delivering this around 10 or so on Thursday. If people are around, maybe they can see it get off the truck.
