Absolutely -- I thought the Grump was going to start throwing wrenches at folks at one race. On the other hand, Bill Helscher (sorry for the spelling) got down and pointed things out as to how to make the suspension work better on my 70 Z-28.

I knew I would ruffle some feathers. It started for me years ago when she got in a staging dual with someone and then proceeded to run her mouth. So I do not have time for her. I like Force but fast forward is great for when they stick a microphone in front of him. I acknowledge she is a good driver, no doubt. The teams record speaks for itself. She will not save Pro Stock. It has become for the rich to play. And Nascar ruined itself years ago with to many rules and calling it a Family sport. It came out of running moonshine. To much political correctness.

Erica has been great with the fans at Maple Grove, always talks to my kids and asks them how their season is going....
2014: ![]() Same for Leah... ![]() Actually, most all of the drivers have been nothing short of excellent when interacting with us, it's one way that drag racing is different than other motorsports like Nascar or F1.

I'm happy for Erica and their team and kudos to Jason for his respectful comments the entire day.
At least the P/S competition was more believable than the F/C double throw-down by DSR!

Erica and her team had the best car for most of the year and deserve the win. She is great with the fans as well. Don Schumacher on the other hand has repeatedly made the point that they race heads up regardless of the situation, as a dig on JFR, when clearly that was not the case on the weekend.
