Here are a few cars from the Auctions America fall 2013 auction in Auburn IN.

This 57 Bel Air convertible was advertised as an original 245 horse dual quad car in rarely seen Canyon Coral.

This 61 Corvette was advertised as having it's original 275 horse fuel injected engine.

This 69 Camaro SS was an X22 D80 car with an L78 and an M22 that was sold new at Byrne Brothers in White Plains NY. The L89 heads were added when the car was restored. This car was at the Chevy Vette Fest about 10 or so years ago when it was first restored.

Nice 64 GTO convertible with tri-power and PHS documentation.

71 442 W-30 convertible with A/C and a TH400 was bid to $120K and didn't sell.

66 Hemi Belvedere I RL21H with a red bench seat interior and a TorqueFlite.

This 70 Superbird 440+6 had a bench seat with a TorqueFlite and only 29K original miles. It had one repaint and was still owned by the original owner who bought it new in Huntington IN.

This 71 Charger R/T 440+6 with a TorqueFlite was advertised as having it's original drivetrain. It was sold new at Moneton in New Brunswick.

I'm not that into modern muscle, but this GMC Typhoon looked like it might be a fun ride.

Here are a couple of cars from the Auctions America auction and AACA show in Auburn IN in May of 2014.

Here is the Zintsmaster 62 Impala SS. It is a numbers matching and documented car with most of it's original paint. It is 1 of 2 known 62 Impala light weight cars. It has been featured in numerous magazines over the years.

This 68 Biscayne L72 is a low mileage, mostly original paint car and is documented. I believe this is C. Marks' old car.

This 68 Impala L72 is a documented and numbers matching car that was sold new at Southwest Chevrolet in Chicago IL.

Nice 67 Corvette convertible sold for $125K.

K. Cook's 68 Chevelle SS convertible had an L34 with a TH400.

This 67 GTO 400 HO was a numbers matching, unrestored, one owner car with documentation.

C. Moore's 66 Hemi Charger was featured in the March 2006 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines.

J. Randall's 69 Super Bee A12 with a 4 speed was sold new at Mr. Norm's Grand Spalding Dodge in Chicago IL.

Here are a few photos from the Cavalcade of Wheels in South Bend IN. I'm not a big fan of indoor car shows like this since most of the cars are roped off and have signs and other stuff all around them. That all makes it kind of hard to take a good picture.

G. Elpers' 46 Chevy pickup with a 6.1L Hemi was featured in several magazines.

N. Pinto's 40 Ford sedan was a Ridler Great 8 Finalist in 2009.

A. Love's 56 210 with an AL 582 putting out close to 1,000hp was also a Ridler Great 8 Finalist. He has since sold it and it is in a private museum locally.

A. Love's 55 Bel Air was originally built back in the 80's and featured in several magazines at that time. He then sold it and built several other tri-fives including the above 56. A couple of years ago I saw that it was going to the Auburn fall auction and mentioned that to him when I saw him at a local cruise-in. He went down there and bought the car back. It only had 2 or 3 miles put on it in the 25 years or so since he had sold it. He spend a lot of time cleaning and detailing it and made some upgrades to the suspension and wheels and tires. Other than that the car is exactly how it was when it was built around 30 years ago.

Here are a few cars from the Chrysler Classics Meet at Martin in 2010.

R. Ingles' 65 Coronet A990 Lightweigh Hemi S/S is a TorqueFlite car that was bought new at Mr. Norms Grand Spalding Dodge in Chicago IL. This car was featured in the December 2014 issue of Muscle Car Review.

Clean 63 Savoy was racing in the Max Wedge class and ran low 9's.

J. Buehler's 64 Dodge was racing in the Hemi class and ran 9.80's.

J. Lowee's 68 Cuda was racing in the Hemi class and ran 9.20's.

S. Brady's 68 Charger was racing in the Quick 8 class and ran 4.80's in the 1/8th.

This 69 Road Runner was an original R4 Red A12 car that was running 11.10's.

This 72 Duster had a 417 stroker and was running 9.70's.

D. Baxter's 09 Stratus was a Quick 8 car that was running 4.60's in the 1/8th.

P. Costa's 09 Stratus was also a Quick 8 car that was running 4.80's in the 1/8th.

Every August Crossroads Community Church in Goshen IN has a cruise in on a Sunday morning. It seems to grow larger every year. I believe there were 600+ cars there last year. Here are a few cars I've seen there over the last couple of years.

This 70 Nova SS had a 600+ci engine and ran low 8's in street trim. It has since been sold and I believe it is out in MD now.

This 69 Dart GT Sport is a factory M code 440 car as is the 69 Cuda 440 below it.

This is a 32 Buick 5-window coupe with a big block Chevy for motivation. I don't believe I've ever seen another one of these in any form.

F. Marchand's 66 Chevy II has a bolt on front clip and a 355 with a 5 speed.

This 70 Chevelle SS has a 604 with EFI and NOS.

E. Bessinger's 65 Coronet with a 511 Hemi and a TorqueFlite.

Bright Yellow ZR-1 Corvette.

A. Love's 55 Bel Air.

Every Thursday from May through September the Essenhaus in Middlebury IN has a cruise in. If the weather is nice normally 300 - 400 cars show up. Last year the grand finally event for the year had close to 1,000 cars. Here are a few pictures I've taken there over the years.

Nice 69 Camaro SS with a 502 putting out over 600 hp.

This 64 GTO convertible is a numbers matching factory tri-power car with a 4 speed.

Nicely detailed 66 Chevelle SS.

J. Randolf's 34 Chevy roadster with a ZZ4. He lived just up the road from my parents house when I was growing up and always had a cool hot rod of some sort around.

Nice 71 GTX with a 440 Magnum.

Wild twin turbo Lambo that puts out over 900hp. I believe most of the engine work was done by Steve Morris. This thing sounds like a fighter jet at WOT.

M. Bisbin's 69 Z/28 is a numbers matching car.

This 64 GTO is a R Alamo Beige with 216 Saddle interior factory tri-power car.

R. Hoke's 68 Nova with a 400 and a ProCharger runs 9.80's and sees lots of street time. He lives just down the road from me.

I'll leave you with these two, a V10 Audi and an Austin Martin.

That one orange '56 Chevy with the purple interior is unbelievable. Not sure about the purple interior, but the rest of it is stunning. Thanks mrays for all the pics; love looking at them.

Here are a few more from the Essenhaus.

41 Willys pickup with a LS-1 for power.

Cool Anglia with a blown small block. You don't see many of these around anymore.

D. Sloan's 69 Chevelle SS with a 900hp 565 backed by a Richmond 5 speed.

Nice 67 Chevelle SS L34 with a 4 speed.

M. Personett's 67 Chevy II is a small block car with a bolt on front clip and a 4 link rear.

C. Ragland's 66 Chevelle SS L34 with a Powerglide and a red bench interior. I believe this is an original drivetrain car and it was freshly restored. It was for sale, I don't know if it's still available or not.

This 69 Z/28 is an original X33 76B car that has been big block powered most of it's life. Story is the car was sold new in Chicago and taken to Nickey early in it's life for a big block transplant. It was supposedly raced quite frequently at Union Grove. The current owner bought it as a basket case and built it into what you see here.

Nice 56 Bel Air was built by A. Love in the 90's and recently came back to the area from FL.

This old school Nova has been around for years. I remember seeing it at shows when I was a kid.

More from the Essenhaus.

Nice pair of LS powered 57 Bel Airs. I believe they were both owned by the same person.

A. Love's 55 210 handyman wagon.

E. Coffel's 67 Chevelle SS currently has a 454 with a 4 speed. The original engine is at home in his garage.

Turbocharged Nissan.

J. Wise's 32 Ford has an AL 496 with a Richmond 5 speed. This car was featured in the March 2012 issue of Street Rodder magazine.

M. Roy's 71 Monte Carlo with a 2,000+ hp 540 is totally street legal and runs mid 7's. He is a multi time drag week winner. This car was featured in the October 2012 issue of RPM magazine and the January 2015 issue of Super Chevy.

This is one of the nicer Grand Nationals I've seen.

T. Holdread's 67 Chevy II SS has a healthy 355 in it.

C. Ragland's 72 Chevelle SS has a pump gas 496 putting out around 700 hp.
