Chris,
I say WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world made you decide to use that old song??? My blood pressure is still up!
Ken Walsh's '09 is a lot of fun to watch. Specially set up for the "crowd appeal"..... not ET.
There are some rivalries being set up these days for this coming season. Ronnie's engine is almost ready for our dyno session and we have a "few" other unmentionable additions that are in the works for this season. We're going to be traveling and we're not planning on taking prisoners.

This is the way a quick car should launch. Any motion that isn't straight ahead is lost energy...

And I am very humbled by Ronnie doing this without me knowing it.......All I did was help as much as I could the last season out................but I'm PROUD and PROUD as can be at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam,
Sounds like you've been peeking inside the new engine.....
We know we'll be in the 9.s but not sure how deep. The car did a .23 with a 417 cu in motor. It's a tad larger now....
Once the motor is built, it's "built" and there isn't much you can change for improvement after that. We'll be playing around with the top of the intake and headers on the dyno to find the best combination. After that, it's all chassis and clutch.........and maybe a few other things that aren't being discussed.........(no, we're not hiding a bottle).
Pete knows his stuff for sure. He built the old 417 and it was no slouch!!!!
