![]() Ryan, do you know anything about that grabber blue Shelby? Back in 1969 my parents purchased a grabber blue / white GT500 like the one pictured (if it is a GT500). I have always wondered what happened to the car after they traded it in after 6-8 months of ownership. Most grabber blue Shelbys I see have black interior which is why this one has caught my eye. |

This is a 70 Shelby GT500 that has spent most of its life in Northern Illinois. Been sitting for atleast 20 years.

Was planning to make it a drag car till NHRA decided to no longer allow hydramatics in sedan deliverys. Wish I had known then what I later learned about glides. Anyway, it had an extra home style latch on the rear, so that sticky fingers would find it harder to open the rear gate.

![]() - ![]() - ![]() The Vixen was a recreational vehicle designed by Bill Collins and built from 1986 until 1989. A total of 578 Vixen motorhomes of three different types were built: the Vixen 21 TD (1986–1987), Vixen 21 SE (1988–1989), and Vixen 21 XC (1986–1987). Oftentimes noted as the "Driver's RV", it has a very low center of gravity and a very wide stance. Instead of lumbering down the highway, it had a manual transmission and when the turbo kicked in it zoomed down the highway. It would drive as fast as 100 MPH, and still average about 30 MPG using a BMW M21 turbo-diesel engine. Wind tunnel testing was used to create a completely smooth fiberglass exterior top and bottom.
