Nice!
I wonder if chopper boy can produce an image of his so called NOS carb ? I have no problem showing mine with its correct dates and such. I can even prove the ink stamps correct numberings, size and locations as well.... Weren't these repop'd in a short run by Holley not too long ago then discontinued? Also, werent the first batch of ZL1 cars mis-carb'd? My guess would be Holley got the notice well after this carb's stamping and assembly! When were the replacement 4296 carb's actually produced, stamped and delivered to the regional dealerships for retrofitting????  That brings me to wondering if that 912 date code is actually an L88 intended carb. I have an NCRS guy looking into date runs for those cars....
