... So is this correct ? The FIRST 1967 Camaro built with the 396/375 motor was The Actual Pace Car. The SECOND was THE BACK UP Pace Car. The THIRD was GRUMPY JENKINS CAR. ... and his was also the first car with the 396/375 motor OFFERED To the General Public and PICKED UP at the Tech Center and not at a Dealership. The FOURTH was MY CAR that was ORDERED and DELIVERED to Hechler Chevrolet. ... and it is UNKNOWN if GRUMPY JENKINS CAR was ORDERED thru a Dealership or not. ... Is this correct ? Just trying to understand the sequence correctly. Thanks for your input. ... Last edited by John; Today at 08:12 AM. |

There were three 396/375 pace cars built before Grumpy Jenkins' car and "The Actual Pace Car" was the third of those three. There may have been one or more 396/375 Camaros built between your car and Grumpy's but, so far, I'm not aware of one that has surfaced.
