I have a ton of Chevy point distributors that are from run of the mill engines. I was thinking about taking pictures of each of the numbers to post for comparison (seeing how none of these are numbers that would never be restamps) Should I bother?

It's a shame that while we are educating each other we are also educating the restampers. Be careful.

Found pics of these two distributors both with same date. Pics are not the best, but fonts look very similar to OP’s stamping.
