Never seen a 8J30 date before and Ive had a bunch of these 480 distributors. Is there paint on it?

I have a ton of Chevy point distributors that are from run of the mill engines. I was thinking about taking pictures of each of the numbers to post for comparison (seeing how none of these are numbers that would never be restamps) Should I bother?
