Default 69 Vette

Have any of you Corvette guys saw the red 69 Vette on Facebook? What do you think about it? My friend sent me the info but I don’t do Facebook so I can’t open the rest of the pictures.

Thanks,
Richard

----Couple of things. Appears in these small pics that the car has leather seats. Would be nice to know if it came with that option. Also, did it come with sidepipes? I don't know how tall you are but if you are over 6 feet you may not enjoy a 69 without tilt+tele. Other than those caveats the car looks nice, but I would need better pics for any further help. Undercarriage pics would help!....Bill S

Unless some unknown significance or connection, there’s likely better examples out there worth finding also as w/ any Corvette, eyeballs inspection including frame very necessary before commitment.
Great Bill’s chimed in, he or others here into these car may be able to help find something in your price range, best of luck w/ your quest!

----I didn't go on facebook. Shame on me. Only vinyl interior. Also appears to have a Holley carb, but should have came with a quadrajet. Automatic should make for a nice cruiser. Oh,,,And it didn't come with sidepipes....Bill S

IMO, there's enough pics to verify the ad is not deceptive. Frame appears great, added adj. rear struts which is good, paint appears good but that's always sketchy to assess in pics, front clip appears original, interior looks to be tight. If you like the options, drivetrain and colors, I'd be inspecting in person or taking the next step.

Why do people feel the need to put side exhaust on so many cars.

Thanks all for your input. Just looking at the small pics I didn’t notice it has side pipes. I don’t care for them. I’ve heard others say that getting in and out of the early C3 without tilt- telescopic is uncomfortable for a tall guy which I am.
They don’t say anything about the engine which I would want an original drivetrain. I want a small block, automatic, AC and the more power buttons the better. A cruiser car that I can drive and enjoy. I like this color combo. The side pipes and leather seats seems like someone trying to dress it up. I like Vettes factory original. Of the chrome bumper C3’s I like the 72’s best.
