'67 #s Z/28
Clean car - could use some detailing overall - looks to have a few years on the resto.
What do you folks think about the deck stamp? I have no reason to believe it isn't authentic, just curious. Drivetrain
"Take a deep breath, here we go! The original numbers matching block still rests in the engine bay between the fenders and looks just fab in its coating of Chevrolet engine orange. The numbers are all there, however, the partial VIN stamping on the block presents as slightly suspect with multiple stampings done for a few of the digits. Beyond that, things are correct for the casting number and date as well as the stamping code. The correct starter, alternator and distributor are on and the date and part # correct Holley 4-barrel carb feeds air and fossils through the correct Winters aluminum intake. Bolted to the back is the numbers matching Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and in the back is the correct PJ stamped 12 bolt 3.73 Positraction rear axle." Interesting way of covering your behind! "The numbers are all there, however the VIN stamping on the block presents as slightly suspect with multiple stampings done for a few of the digits" |
