Default VIN Service

I recently used PHS for a vin search on a early Pontiac and was very satisfied with the results, and the overall service provided.
I have a '69 M-21 from the Van Nuys assembly plant. My research shows Z-28 or SS big block?
I'll try and post a pic..
Is there a service similar to PHS that could tell me which car it came in originally?

100% certain it was installed in a 1969 Camaro originally.

Unfortunately, Chevrolet won’t give you much joy like Pontiac. Unless the VIN has been logged in history someplace, you won’t have any way of knowing what engine was in front of it.
