Shouldn't 350 manual trans be a smog pump motor. I get removing the pump, but those don't look like smog exhaust manifolds.

Cool car. Sold new at Bender-Mills Chevrolet in Doylestown, Pa. (now Fred Beans Chev)

Made it all the way out to California sometime in its life.
Not too many of these out there

No A/C is a plus in my book. Love the color combo also.

4spd Monte is a rare one!

I had one that was L48/M20 Black, Black vinyl top, Saddle interior, buckets, console, factory tach, 3.31 open rear... was a project car, but missing a lot of the good stuff. Found a partial build-sheet.

That would have been correct in 1969 and maybe 68...Chevy added the TCS system in 1970 and the smog pump was only on the solid lifter cars. Pretty sure CA delivered cars still had the pump on just about everything.

I sent my older brother a pic of this car car and he really likes it. Neither he nor I recall seeing a stick shift Monte Carlo back in our day. Great color combo.
