This highly-coveted 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is one of the best examples known to exist and is highly-regarded among the C3 Corvette community. It was owned and restored by well-respected NCRS Judge Lyle Chamberlain. Many Corvette collectors and enthusiasts consider Lyle the 1973 Corvette guru. This car has achieved 3 NCRS Top Flight Awards scoring as high as 98.7 points. One of the Top Flight Awards was achieved in November of 2023. This car was invited to the prestigious Hilton Head Island Concours d' Elegance and the license plate is included. The car is also accompanied with the NCRS Shipping Data Report, NCRS Confirmation of Existence of Judging Awards Letter, NCRS Judging Sheets, Top Flight Award Certificate and Ribbon from 2023. The factory owner's manuals, registrations and receipts dating back to 1988 are also included. In 1973, a total of 30,464 Corvettes were produced of which only 4,943 were convertibles. The 1973 model was the first year of the redesigned front to meet federal 5-mph standards. The front bumper system with body-color injected molded urethane cover gave the design a face lift. The lifting windshield wiper panel was deleted from 1973 models and a new hood with rear cold air induction was introduced. This example was built in St. Louis, Missouri and the GM Official Production Date was November 14th, 1972. The original delivery dealer was Ver Hoven Chevrolet located in Detroit, Michigan. This car was the product of a correct and show quality restoration. The exterior was refinished in its original factory color of Medium Blue Metallic which is stunning. The paint was recently detailed to a brilliant finish. The color is complimented with a new white vinyl soft top which is elegant. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the glass, stainless trim, driver's side mirror, antenna, door handles, lower rocking molding, tail light bezels and lenses, split chrome rear bumpers and emblems. The car sits proudly on 15” wheels with authentic Deluxe Wheel Covers known as the “P02” option which command a premium price in today's market in comparable condition. The wheels are covered with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T 225/70/15 tires. The interior was refinished its original factory color of Medium Blue vinyl which seldom seen. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer which are crystal clear. Gauges for the fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure and amperage are mounted in the center stack along with an analog clock. Everything in the interior has restored or replaced such as the rear view mirror, dash pad, dash fascia, gauges, knobs, controls, stereo, door sills, door panels, bucket seats and carpeting. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with correct parts. It's powered by its original factory matching-numbers “L48” 350 V8 engine that was factory rated with 190 horsepower. This engine was rebuilt and runs excellent. The engine is coupled to the original factory matching-numbers 4-speed manual transmission. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed throughout with correct parts. The power steering system, suspension system and braking system has completely gone through. This investment grade Corvette is a special very special C3. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.

Very pretty car, I love the light options on a '73. The PO2's looks great.
