Default Corvette accident going to cruise in

A guy and his wife escaped serious injury while going out to a local cruise in at the neighboring town to me. They’ve owned the Vette for 57 years.

Good to hear they weren't seriously injured.

So sorry to see the car smashed like that but, glad they were okay. I wonder how the accident happened.

My guess would be that cell phone usage was a factor.

Default Vette crash

I found out what happened to cause the Vette crash. As I suspected caused by a stupid yard sale. Each year there is a US127 yard sale that goes from Michigan to Florida. Most of US127 in Ky. is an improved two lane or four lane with an adequate pull off shoulder. People will use that shoulder to park and walk up to a yard sale. It is against the law to use a shoulder to park on but people still use it. The couple in their mid seventies were going out to spend the evening with fellow car friends and a yard sale person pulls out in front of them.
Each year you hear of accidents happenings like this and there has been fatalities. Just to buy someone else’s junk!
I avoid US127 during this time.

A guy that frequents here, his dad had a driver turn in front of him on the 4th of July. He was in the 69 GTO he bought new. Messed the front end up pretty good. No one was hurt as far as I know.
