Not much to nit pick there.

Too late for chambered exhaust, but seeing that it has headers with the smog eliminated, not really an issue. After all, I drive my low mileage Z with headers and aftermarket exhaust. I still have all the smog stuff, and a 1976 era Walker exhaust system.

Floor looks way too black for summer of 69 build; but again, not a huge issue.

Having just gone through Legends Concours judging at the 2024 Camaro Nationals last week I have a greater appreciation for the rigor required to achieve a top score. In fact I met a few guys who have been through Bow-Tie class judging a couple or even a few times before scoring high enough (1,000 point scale) to be promoted to compete in Legends class which is based on 5,000 points. When I read this car had received a Gold level Legends score (and there is a photo of the plaque to prove it) I was...surprised. Although the lens of the prospective buyer differs greatly from that of Camaro Nationals Legends judges, here are the deficiencies I noted based only on the photos included with the BaT listing. It is possible (likely) that modifications like the addition of headers, right side door mirror and deletion of the smog system occurred post judging, however other items that carry point values could/should have been identified in 2021:

- Passenger side door mirror added
- Headers added
- Poor grill stiffener to header panel fitment (gap) above left side RS headlight door
- Build date too late for stainless trim rings on front turn signal lenses (discontinued in February 69)
- Header panel Camaro emblem placement, overlaps stripe
- Left side door upper hinge pin - several impact marks
- Left side (and possibly right side) door jamb switch, no MS stamp
- Door jamb quarter panel vent and U-seal, both have incorrect screws
- Horn button installed upside down
- Incorrect shifter handle (too upright)
- Reproduction tach (has zero post)
- Reproduction temp gauge (incorrect high temp range paint color)
- Incorrect seat bumper screw (should be clear zinc)
- Seat catch and bolts not re-plated clear zinc
- Poor quality firewall pad (smooth plastic)
- Smog equipment missing
- Incorrect high-beam switch and switch grommet not installed
- RS headlight washer solenoid jumper wire colors and plug incorrect (should be brown & black)
- Throttle Rod threaded segment should be mang phosphated rather than clear zinc
- Gold Dichromate finish on carburetor is poor
- Left rear shock mounting stud is partially separated from lower bushing
- Cowl flap solenoid bolt missing black caulk (dum-dum)
- Incorrect right side valve cover vent hose
- Right side firewall ground strap in wrong location on valve cover
- Thermostat housing right side bolt has incorrect flat washer added
- Starter harness wire bracket (attaches to bellhousing) is gold zinc plated (vs natural) with no vulcanization.
- Hood adjuster stand lock nuts are clear zinc plated vs mang phosphated
- Grease pencil markings / script on firewall should be under blackout paint
- Power steering box cover bolts (4) are incorrect indented head style
- Teflon tape used on water temp sensor
- PS pulley retainer nut is painted black vs clear zinc or natural
- Rocker blackout too glossy
- Underside of steering box and mounting bolts are painted silver rather than natural cast and mang phosphate (for bolts)
- Heater box cover style wire hook mounted to transmission inspection cover, non-factory
- Blue (Felpro) gasket used on fuel pump block plate
- Aftermarket generic flasher installed on fuse block
- White stripe (25amp) fuses use wire rather than correct bow-tie style filaments
- Rear seat back wire frame rusty (as seen through trunk divider)
- Incorrect gray vs beige padding used on underside of package tray
- Package tray sheet metal should receive body color rather than blackout. Some color should be visible from trunk underside with package tray shelf installed.
- Incorrect spare tire wing nut.
- Trunk spatter paint not typical
- No undercoating insulation on trunk in-side of quarter panels
- Incorrect, non-chisel end front turn signal lens screws
- Repro speedo cable clip (trans tunnel location)
- Incorrect driveshaft to transmission yoke
- Transmission leaking from main case seal and yoke seal
- Paint damage on transmission cross member
- Repro subframe to body bushings. No water test tape visible.
- Repro tie rod ends
- Incorrect trunk lock retainer bracket screw
- Trunk lock retaining bolt removed and replaced / cleaned following spatter paint as spatter paint missing
- Trunk weather seal missing orange stripe marking
- RS reverse light wire trunk floor wire grommets incorrect repros
- Underbody and rear frame rail paint poorly applied (rough and bubbled)
- Balancing paint stripes (white & orange) missing from drive shaft
- Transmission to bellhousing bolts and lock washers are clear zinc plated rather than mang phosphated
- Many non-factory inspection markings and hang tags
- Lower control arm bushings painted black vs mang phosphated
- Center / Drag link painted gray (and showing rust in areas) vs gun blued
- Poor quality underhood insulation (vs "best available" standard)
- Hood latch retainer assembly bolts zinc (gray) vs mang (black) phosphate
- Smooth (vs textured) upper radiator hose
- White (vis black or brown) wire harness retainer clip on alternator bracket
- T-straps routed through radiator support rail piercings to retain RS vac and washer hoses vs strap bundled with wiring harness
