I have purchased two water pumps from him and had no problems. Different issue with water pumps though, as the identifying characters are cast in.

The thing that bothers me the most is he never even asked me if it would be OK to re-stamp it and obviously I would’ve said no and went elsewhere but when confronted he became a complete POS. I find it funny that he said it’s OK with the Corvette guys. This particular starter was confirmed by two national judges as being bogus. I just wanted this to be shared with the world. It’s not about $350. It’s about his character and his reputation and in my book they are both zero.

I'm a Corvette guy and I can tell you most in those circles would say that it's not OK to restamp a part to deceive.
