1954 Chevrolet 210 2 door
Feels weird placing this ad in a "Muscle car" thread, but there isn't a "beater" thread...
I know, it isn't a tri-five, but it isn't $15,000 either... This IS an original paint, except the roof, car that I brought back from Casper WY about 6 years ago. VERY clean and 98% no rust body. I removed the entire, enclosed, drivetrain with hand tools. Original drivetrain is now in CA. I had planned to get it driving with a high perf 292 and 5 speed trans. Plans have changed and I removed the engine/trans and am selling the car as a roller. The rear axle is a 1955 open driveshaft with 3.73 posi internals. It is installed with a Chassis Engineering relocation kit to move the axle back to center it in the wheel opening as well as a CE a rear shock bar that needs to be installed too. The crossmember is modified with a Chassis Engineering kit for a modern 3-4 speed as well as a PG or TH350 transmission. I have an aluminum radiator and electric fan for it. I have clean used and NOS parts to replace most of the scrapped and dented side trim. All original glass. Interior is very aged and dried out, but it comes with a new headliner and door opening welting. There is a rust issue that needs to be cut out and replaced in the right footwell/floor. There are small rust holes in both quarters right behind the tires. I will include extra right and left doors in perfect condition AND in the same color and a right front fender that was sanded and left to surface rust years ago. Original trim and vin tags are on it and I have a clear and free MN title in my name. $4,500

You are killing me. My first car was a 54 2 door sedan.
Light green. Mine had three pedals. Paid $75 for it. Blew the motor and sold it for $10. I don't remember the chrome trim on the lower front of the quarters. I have no pics, so can't verify. Maybe mine was a 150? Had no clue back in 1968 when I bought it.

My first car was a 3 pedal '54 2 dr also. Knew nothing about babbit bearings and dipper oiling so hammered a rod bearing out pretty quickly too. Paid $50, drove it to the junkyard and got $25.
I could drop this off when I go to Boise City...

I see that between us you are the shrewd businessman. Only losing $25 on yours, while I was losing $65. Guess that makes you the "winner". Lose a little on each deal but make up for it with high volume, right?

Somehow the price of this was incorrect in the preview....$15,000. No wonder everyone thought I was nuts.
It is sold for the $4,500 price in the ad.
