2015 Chevrolet COPO Camaro 427
I just placed this on my website this morning. If you'd like to know more, feel free to reach out. More detailed pics can be found at......
https://bouldermotorcar.com/2015-copo-camaro-427/ Thank you SYC! Tim cell (262) 844-5218 shop (715) 385-3700 Offered for your consideration, is this brand new 2015 COPO Camaro Equipped with a naturally aspirated 427ci LS based engine, with a Turbo 400 transmission. Backed with a Ford 9″ (4.57 gear). This particular car is #8 in a production run of 69. The car is also optioned with…… -Carbon fiber hood -Wheelie bars -Matte black graphics package This car was delivered to Diver Chevrolet in Wilmington DE. Ordered by noted successful NHRA Super Stock racer Jeff Lewis. Mr. Lewis tours with the Lucas Oil NHRA Sportsman Series. During the 2014 season, his wife unknowingly was submitting his name at the GM Performance tent to win a spot in the 2015 COPO Camaro allocation. Ironically, Jeff’s name was selected and hence ordered the car you see here. The car was carefully optioned after researching which combination would offer the best opportunity for success in the NHRA Stock and Super Stock classes. While Mr. Lewis had planned on campaigning this particular car (among a couple of others he races), he never did. Jeff later felt the car may someday take on a collector value if the car was never raced. Jeff being a car collector himself, he carefully stored and periodically started the car (warm the engine) and move it around to keep everything in good working order. This car has never seen the track. Jeff listed this car for sale earlier this year, and we acquired it. This car is capable of low 9 second 1/4 mile passes @ 145-150mph. It retains all of it’s originally installed equipment. The car would equally serve a collector, as it would it’s original intended purpose of drag racing. The fit and finish on this car is top notch, especially when one considers this is a purpose built race car. Please see in the photographs, all of the special detail COPO parts that are unique to the COPO run of cars. The purity and originality of this car is well worth noting. This car is a purpose built race car. It does not have a VIN nor is it able to licensed / titled for legal street use. Offered at $87,900 USD. Quality trades considered. They are beautiful. I love the fact that they are so well detailed.
When I was working on my final project at GM I spent quite a bit of time at Turn Key Automotive. Those guys are top notch. Plus - my bosses' boss had one stashed away, a white one, at a remote facility. I'm not partial to white but even that one caught my eye. K

After carefully reevaluating the market on these cars, I am going to make a price adjustment to $87,900. This thing is so cool.......

I had one last thing I needed to take care of on the COPO, so it entailed running and warming the motor.
Thought some of you may enjoy the clip. |

Wow, it sounds nasty at idle and ANGRY when you snap the throttle. I don't know, Tim, I think we need a BURNOUT vid now...
