Nice ! A good week for Nova builds... I can just imagine the feelings of the local guy here who ordered the car waiting anxiously by the train station waiting to get to see it !

Interesting I have a NOS Powerbeam and never noticed the GM logo... I will definitely check it out tomorrow.

The 3 Powerbeam headlights I have all have “Guide” on the bottom.

My 06B 1969 Z28 had Power Beams. had the circle with power beam like the photo. Don't remember if it had a 2 at the top or any other details.

My '70 Camaro has one original Power Beam on it. It has "Guide" at the bottom. I also have a pair of Power Beams that I picked up at a swap meet, that have the"GM" at the bottom. I seem to remember a posting on some website where the "Guide" ones were assembly line, and the "GM" ones were over the counter replacements. Don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds plausible. Dale

Want to part with those swap meet finds?

My over the counter replacement in 1974 was the GUIDE version. Of course I'm also interested for the day you decide to part with the swap meet GM ones. Post a picture if possible. Thanks !

Sorry, but they are packed away in storage. One thing I do remember is that they have "GM of Canada"& some numbers in the ink stamp on back.

My 70 Z28 has the original power beam headlamps that say Guide at the bottom. I also bought over the counter that also say Guide. I purchased the car in 1987 with 32000 miles. Original paint, tire ,belts, brakes and hoses ect., so I'm assuming they are the originals. Production date is 6/70.
