LOL ... On the black and Gold car the factory ZL-1 "Street Detuned engine" was a 396 L-78.

the yellow Z/427 was said to have been built and driven by GM design boss Bill Mitchell

Interesting that the prototype deck lid stripes did not terminate under the spoiler like production Z/28 and Z10-Z11.

Look @ the chrome tailpipe extensions on the Yellow Car & the B&W photos of the black car.
They look like 1970 Chevelle SS..
