The ZL1 Corvette pictured is not a prototype. It was a production car built late in the 1969 model year.

On the black and Gold car the factory ZL-1 "Street Detuned engine" was a 396 L-78.

Interesting that the prototype deck lid stripes did not terminate under the spoiler like production Z/28 and Z10-Z11.

They look like 1970 Chevelle SS.. |
