Ran out of time to edit.

Engine/trans/axle look original to me. And yes date of axle is ok.

Cool car, and looks like it was stored in slightly better conditions than my L78 'driveway find.'

Please don't motionize it and add motion valve covers, fly eye air cleaner etc etc. as everyone tends to do.

Great project... will be absolutely gorgeous when done. The Metallic colors just do not hold up near as well as solids.

I can't believe I missed your thread. I guess we see so many fake "barn finds" these days that I just over looked the title. Congrats!
Do you mind if I ask what town in Mass it came from? I'm from Mass and I want to puke when I find out it lived next door to me for the last 40 years lol... I saw the New England Speed Equipment sticker.
