Default 1970 Camaro Z28 "COPO" 9796

1970 Camaro Z28 COPO Camaro.

This all numbers matching Z28 COPO has been certified by Jerry Macneish. One of less than 5 known to exist with all original build sheet to prove authenticity.

The 1970 Z28 COPO was not about a big block drag king, but trans am racing. The COPO option was the high back spoiler that would go on in history as one of the longest running RPO's, all through the second generation Camaros.

Originally finished in one of, if not the most popular color Mulsanne Blue, with blue houndstooth interior.

This COPO Z has its original "born with" LT1, TH400 automatic transmission and 3.73 rear.

The interior is repro, but I do have a bolt of the original "NOS" blue houndstooth material to make correct seatcovers, supposedly the last of the material that the original supplier had.

This Z COPO is not restored but a low mileage driver quality car. There were a few bubbles starting (dime sized) that I ground out to make sure of the extent. They are very small and addressed properly will not be an issue on this all original sheet metal COPO Z.

Please call me for details. I will post some pics tomorrow of the bubbles.

Priced at $40,000.00 OBO

You can contact me by cell at 504-913-3618 (8am to 9pm Central please)

Probably my incorrect terminology based on the 69 models.

Whats the proper term?

Edit: per an old thread at nastyz:

&quot;714 which is a custom Black with blue accents cloth material&quot;

Blue houndstooth is so much easier to say

That interior material is Awesome in person , so bright &amp; brilliant &amp; has like chromish silver sparklies, I just don't know how to explain it &amp; it's so faint but really cool. I will have to look back at the e- mails &amp; see which pics of the 70 stripe delete copo Z I sent you</div></div>
