You nailed the Holy s@#* reaction of people. I spent a lot of time with Kevin Gass from Holley on Friday. He is no stranger to a drag strip. He was a great help in getting my Deuce in the 12s. And that was his exact response. He said he was expecting some really nice rare cars making parade passes and taking photos. But was blown away by how we were running them the way they were meant to be run. Jamie

Thanks for posting the picture of the Mustang Doug. It felt a little out of place with all the Chevrolets around but you guys certainly made me feel welcome. Eight passes between 11.08 and 11.18 made me very happy for the day. That's almost two tenths under the NHRA index for B/SA. Hubert would have been proud had he been there. Next year I think we need to do a bracket race in the afternoon for bragging rights.Maybe the winner gets prime parking inside the show area. By the way, you better get the green monster tuned up as I plan to be running 10.80s.
