Price update: Offers considered around ~$31,500 can likely by this car (truck) now.
This is a beautiful original motor ~14K mile all white L78 el camino! Paperwork galore. 4 spd. The guy managing the sell off of this vehicle for the current owner is at 1 815 554 0030. Or second choice you can call me (630 485 8249). |

Did this El Camino have a 427 in it when the original owner sold it? I talked to a guy in MN a few years ago that had an identical one, but with a 427. He had the original engine stashed. In fact, the NOS 69 Chevelle inner fenders that I bought were from the guy. I have his name in my records somewhere.

same guy. he had NOS stuff I guess (was a chevy dealers parts counter guy for years). He ran an L88 in it for a while I believe, and may even another radical engine. had the original engine on the side is what he told me. he is still around too. |

This car was in Bovey MN most of it's life. The original owner worked at Iten Chev and traded his 69 SS 396/L-78 nova for it. The car was painted candy apple red with etched windows and tru spoke wires most of time it was up here. Real deal low mile 396/ L-78 el camino.
