Yup. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/scholar.gif[/img] I know the folks at Beaverton Auto Machine (where the Sorenson's work or worked). Robin (who owns the place) will be the first to tell you how stock a Stocker isn't. There's a ton of hard work in their 427 Camaro.

And hey, when it comes to stuff like acid porting, that's one reason why they put lines between the sentences in the Rule Book! Bottom line here is, the NHRA really doesn't have the resources to effectively police Stock.

Agree 100%. And with that said, in regards to old vs. new, there's a reason folks are campaigning for new heads, like Edelbrocks, in the NHRA [and getting them, like the Fords]...and it's not so they can go slower!
