| E-Bay '69 Yenko Disguised As a Z-28 Clone!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT Anybody else catch this 1969 Z/28 clone that turned out to be a real Yenko in disguise? This one really came in under the RADAR! It's on the list of '69 cars. I bet the new owner is in a frantic rush to pick the car up before the seller is bombarded with higher offers to not sell the car to the winning bidder!

Chris, I saw that thread too and couldn't make out what the fella was saying (total of 2 posts, both by same guy are gone now), something like " I took my mother to an appointment and came back and my car was sold - good luck to the new owner!" Can't remember his user name but had about 62 posts and name began with an "n".

Sorry!...I posted earlier. I spotted this car Saturday and tried to get contact info that evening and all day Sunday. I should have been on the phone first thing this morning, but I had family business concerning my mother. When I returned home the car was sold! I exposed the car here as a knee jerk reaction to missing my oportunity. Shortly afterward I called and asked Rob to delete my posts on the off hand chance that the new owner did not know what he bought. The dogs have been unleashed and I am sure the feeding frenzie has begun.....sometimes I can be my own worst enemy!!! CONGRATULATIONS to the new owner!!!...call me if you want sell it for what you paid!! neatss Dave McCutcheon |

I actually parked right next to that car at a show in Intercourse (no kidding), PA last month! I was so intrigued by it (140 mph speedo, single 3/8 fuel line, etc) that I called Bob Harris from the show to discuss it. We decided that it may be a copo, but there were a ton of wrong things as well. I even told the owner that he may have a very valuable car on his hands and he should contact Jerry. Arghhhhhh - shoulda, coulda |
