New Yenko Camaro drag car photos

Gere Gemler was kind enough to send me two pictures of his 69 automatic Yenko he bought new to race. Its the Yellow Yenko. The other is a picture from PID {Pittsburgh International Dragway}. It is the Gold Demo car. It still has the Atlas magas and WTGT on the front...BKH

Did he paint in the lettering in the stripes? And oddly, it says "C/SA" on the windshield & "B/SA"...11.69 dial ain't too shabby, though!

And look at the old Chrondek...5 ambers vs. the later 3 ambers...must be eeeeearly '70s????

I talked to Jere today and he said the B designation was for NHRA and the C was for AHRA...BKH

Take the Yellow Sub, add steelies with slicks on the rear, slots upfront, headers, a few racing stickers, logo and driver's name on doors...presto. you're there.
