Default Coincidence + Karma = Nice Score/Cool Story

At the Pavillions last night long after most of the muscle cars, antiques, & classics headed home and the ricers and cycles moved in to have their fun, I was talking to a fellow visiting from NJ. Like most people have pix of their kids, he had picks of his "kids" - a few really neat cars. One he was most proud of was a '71 340 4 speed Challenger RT/SE. It was sold in 1971 just 5 miles from his current home by his Dad (a Dodge salesman). This fella saw the Challenger from time to time as he kept track of it over the years. Had some neat options like formal roof (vinyl) and overhead console. He started working for the local Chrysler dealership in 71 or 72 in the parts dept. and remembers selling this fellow a replacement block due to a bit too much red lining on the high revving 340 (would you believe 10K rpm!). He picked up the car a few months back from the original owner and was going thru the car looking for broadcast sheets and he finds TWO in the back seat! Neither, belonged to his car . Well he gets on the horn with Galen Govier ( the Mopar authenticating guru). Some of you know that Galen, for years has requested incorrect broadcast sheets found in people's cars and has established a reasonable database. Low and behold Galen says you are one lucky son of a b*tch - I have YOUR broadcast sheet. He traded his two incorrect one for his original broadcast sheet. Car is black with black vinyl roof and a chestnut brown leather interior making it a one of one which will be written up in the future.

Talk about living right!!

P.S. if Jim Ferron has his ears on I think you will recognize this fellow.
